The Member for Dubbo Troy Grant has put the call out for talented athletes looking to demonstrate their sporting ability by taking advantage of a series of junior sports development clinics held by the Western Region Academy of Sport (WRAS) in Dubbo on the 8th-9th December.

"Here is a perfect opportunity for budding young athletes to show what they are capable of achieving under the guidance of skilled and experienced coaches," said Mr Grant.

WRAS coaches will be on hand to run junior development clinics in the key sports of basketball, hockey, lawn bowls, netball and softball at a series of locations throughout Dubbo over the weekend.

"Let's remind the community how fortunate we are to have amongst our junior athletes some of the most gifted sports men and women anywhere in the state and register for these clinics in record numbers," Mr Grant said.

For information contact Rachel Miller from the Western Region Academy of Sport on 63384821.
