Road widening and other repairs on Main Road 347 from Bogan River to Trangie are now complete, the Member for Dubbo Troy Grant said today.

Mr Grant said the $800,000 project included work on the section of road about 5 kilometres from Bogan River towards Trangie.

“This work was completed with $400,000 state funding from Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) and matching funds from Narromine Shire Council under the REPAIR program,” said Mr Grant.

“The road was widened to provide two improved travel lanes and plus sealed shoulders over three sections of the road.

“The project provides a wider and smoother road for motorists, along with newly sealed shoulders.”
