The Member for Dubbo Troy Grant has praised the work being undertaken along the un-sealed section of Tony McGrane Way between Tullamore and Narromine.

Mr Grant was in Tullamore today and used the opportunity to inspect the work for himself.

"Regular road users would know that this seven kilometre stretch of road has remained unsealed for a long time and was in need of urgent attention," said Mr Grant.

"Upon coming to government the NSW Liberals and Nationals were determined to honour the election commitment by sealing this section of the road to the tune of $700,000.

"Improving this section of road not only makes for a smoother driving experience for motorists but a safer one as well."

The official opening of the newly sealed section is anticipated to take place early next year.
